Hello, my name is Sydney Youngstedt I am a second-year Industrial design student attending the University of Cincinnati School of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning.

“A Problem Well Defined is a Problem Half-Solved” -Charles Kettering. As a designer, I live by this quote. The first step in design is having a strong understanding of what the problem is, if you don’t understand what you’re trying to solve you won’t be able to create an effective solution.

I am passionate about human-centered design and interested in soft goods and electronic design.

Outside of school, I spend my free time doing photography, going to the gym, spending time with my dog Charlie, surfing at the beach, and hanging out with friends.
